With all physical fundraising events cancelled due to the pandemic, Singapore Children’s Society relies on the strong support of individuals and organisations to continue our work. During this period, we have seen our donors challenging their limits and unleashing their creativity by venturing into exciting fundraising campaigns to engage their employees meaningfully while adhering to safe distancing measures.

Last year, Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited embarked on an online charity auction to fundraise for our children, youth and families in need. After splitting their employees into teams, each team was tasked to innovate and contribute ideas for the auction. Using their creativity, the teams also competed against one another to raise more funds. Aside from items like homemade tiramisu and collector items, services like introduction to climbing, and even guided photo walk with their resident photo guru were put up for auction. Additionally, company-sponsored merchandises and courses like terrarium and cocktail masterclasses were included in the wide range of auction choices. Through the friendly competition, the employees connected with each other virtually, gained a better understanding of their co-workers, and reinforced their sense of belonging to the organization even though they were unable to gather physically.

Thank you Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited for your unwavering support for Singapore Children’s Society.
